Western Avenue Closure at 24th Street The closure of Western Avenue at 24th Street originally scheduled for Tuesday, October 3 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, October 4. Beginning on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, Western Avenue will be closed at 24th Street to allow construction crews to perform asphalt street patching in this intersection. Access to the Midco Aquatic Center will be maintained on Western Avenue from the north only. Commuters should use either Grange Avenue or Kiwanis Avenue as an alternate route. This work is expected to be complete by early Thursday. Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes. More Details

Columbus Day 2017

Monday, October 9 is Columbus Day, a federal holiday. No regularly scheduled clinic appointments will take place that day at the Sioux Falls VA Medical Center or the Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Aberdeen, Watertown, Wagner, Spirit Lake or Sioux City. If you are having a medical or mental health emergency, please call 911 or report to the nearest hospital. If you are having thoughts of suicide or harming yourself, please call the Veterans Crisis Hotline at 1-800-273-8255. Over the weekend and holiday, you may also call the toll free Nurse VA Advice Line after hours with other health care questions at 1-866-687-7382.
